QC Process

1. Button Life Testing

Simulates the normal button-pressing action during usage.

A 200g weight is added, and the instrument repeatedly presses the button 3000 times.

After the test, it is confirmed whether the button is functioning normally.

2. Plug-in/Out Life Testing Machine — Charging Port Plug-in/Out Test

Using a charging cable, simulate the magnetic charging action during normal use, repeating the process 1000 times at a speed of 10–20 times per minute.

After the test, check if the charging port can still function properly and if there are any contact issues.

If it can still magnetically connect normally, it is considered a good product.

3. Drop Testing Machine — Product Function and Appearance Test

Drop the product from 1m height by closing the balance board of the drop tester’s dual arms, then press the drop button to release it, allowing the product to free-fall onto a cement floor (6 sides, once per side).

During the test, check each side for cracks or looseness, and then test the electrical functionality, buttons, indicator lights, sound, etc.

Products passing the test are placed in a turnover tray and sent to the next process.

4. Simulated Vehicle Transportation Vibration Tester — Vibration Test

Set the frequency to 100Hz and vibrate for 10 minutes. After the test, inspect whether any seams or joints have cracked or loosened.

Additionally, test the electrical functionality, buttons, indicator lights, sound, etc. Products passing the test are placed in a turnover tray and sent to the next process.

5. High and Low Temperature Test — High Temperature Operation Test

Place the Bluetooth headphones in a temperature-controlled chamber at 70°C ± 2°C and follow these steps (while powering and playing music):

  1. Keep the sample in the chamber at 70°C ± 2°C for 2 hours.
  2. Lower the chamber temperature to -20°C ± 2°C and hold for 4 hours.
  3. The temperature transition should not exceed 30 minutes.
  4. Repeat steps 1–2 for a total of 5 cycles. Inspect the Bluetooth headphones for any external defects, fire, or cracking, and test electrical functionality, buttons, indicator lights, sound, etc., ensuring no failures. Products passing the test are placed in a turnover tray and sent to the next process.

6. Wire Bending Test Machine — Incoming Material Wire Quality Inspection

This wire bending machine can simultaneously test six products.

First, the wire to be tested is clamped onto the fixture, then a 1000g weight is hung on the wire to apply tension, rotating at 20 RPM for 1000 cycles.

Check if the wire is damaged or stretched, and test its load-bearing limits.

If there is no damage after the test, the wire is considered good. Products passing the test are placed in a turnover tray and sent to the next process.

7. Battery Capacity Grading Tester — Compare Measured Capacity with Battery Label

Clamp the battery’s positive and negative terminals onto the battery tester (this tester can handle eight products simultaneously).

Turn on the power, and the eight LED lights will blink.

Open the “LiBatTest” software on the computer and start the channel operation.

Set the steps (discharge current matching the battery capacity and charge accordingly), and the system can automatically generate a report.

Select the channel with the battery, start the test, and the computer will display the battery’s capacity and current voltage. After completion, the test will show a white checkmark.

Products passing the test are placed in a turnover tray and sent to the next process.

8. Salt Spray Testing Machine — Surface Corrosion Resistance Test; Functionality Test

Metal components undergo a salt spray test before assembly. A 5% NaCl solution with a pH of 6.5–7.3 is sprayed in a 35°C environment at a pressure of 1.4 ± 0.2Kg/cm² for 24 hours. No corrosion should occur.

Products passing the test are placed in a turnover tray and sent to the next process.

9. Bluetooth Multifunction Tester — Bluetooth Headphone Functionality Test

The machine will automatically connect to the Bluetooth headphones. Once the headphones are powered on, they will automatically pair with the tester.

Test various headphone functionalities like call answering, voice control, battery percentage display, next/previous track, play/pause, power on/off, volume control, and confirm that both visual displays and button functions are working normally.

10. Power Testing Machine — Charging Power Test

After connecting the Bluetooth headphones, the tester will display the charging current and maximum power consumption.

11. Charging Aging Test

The rack is covered with foam to prevent scratching.

Place the product gently and run the aging test for 1–2 hours.

Handle the charging cable carefully, ensuring it magnetically connects properly (loose connections indicate a defect).

During aging, observe the headphone indicator light.

A solid green light indicates charging, and a white light means the battery is fully charged.

If after 2–3 hours the light remains green, the product is defective and requires further current analysis.

Products passing the test are placed in a turnover tray and sent to the next process.

12. IP68 Waterproof Test — Waterproof Rating Test

Check the product for any scratches or stains.

Place both sides of the headphone into the fixture, ensuring the neckband is completely pressed into place.

Press the start button with both hands until the upper mold begins to descend, then release.

A green “PASS” indicates a qualified product, while a red “FAIL” indicates a defect.

Separate and label the passed and failed products accordingly.

13. Leakage Detection Equipment — Submerge Product to Identify Leakage Points

Place defective products from the IPX68 waterproof test into water and close the lid.

Turn the controller switch to “Vacuum On” and observe the pressure gauge, ensuring it remains between 19–21.

Any continuous bubbling from the product indicates a leakage point.

After identifying the leakage point, turn off the vacuum, hold the exhaust button until the pressure gauge reads zero, then remove the product.

Mark the leakage points with a marker after drying the product.
